Kinter has had the opportunity to travel the world and taste the food of a number of countries. Some of the most admired were Japan, Spain, Germany, Russia, and Australia. This was certainly a catalyst for her desire to learn more about preparing regional dishes infused with her southern roots. She then went on to sharpen her skills upon graduating from culinary school at The Art Institute of Jacksonville. Today she is doing what she absolutely loves with two fantastic business partners as The Cats Meow Catering, LLC
Fawn's love for food and entertaining began at a young age. However, her passion was more clearly defined when she gained employment at the Ritz Carlton in Amelia Island. The sheer magnitude of the Ritz Carlton's behind the scenes operations and the level of service offered to each and every guest amazed Fawn. It was then that she knew offering outstanding service in addition to creating culinary delights was her calling. She is grateful to our clients for giving her the opportunity to do what she loves most; to create an event that amazes everyone in attendance, from ambience and decor to palate pleasing perfections.
As a young man, Thomas was mentored by a five star chef, Chef Elmo Moser, formerly of the Sovereign Restaurant in Gainesville and the Great Outback Cafe' in High Springs. Although Chef Elmo is no longer with us, he lives on in many of the dishes that Thomas creates. He graduated from culinary school at The Art Institute of Jacksonville in 2012. He has also led the start-up of several restaurants in his career.
For Thomas, the kitchen is a place of joy. A clean counter is like a blank canvas that awaits an amazing creation with the wave of his whisk.
